Job summary

SSM Health is seeking an experienced and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join our Urgent Care team in Florissant, MO. This part-time role offers a fast-paced, supportive environment where youll make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of our community.

Schedule includes 2x12-hour shifts per week, with a weekend rotation every 3rd weekend and a 2-day per month call. We offer a competitive hourly rate plus shift differential and a strong team-based culture.

Qualifications

• Masters or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current/unrestricted NP license in Missouri (or willingness to obtain).
• Family Nurse Practitioner certification.
• Minimum 1 year in Urgent Care or Primary Care in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care medical services to patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries.
• Triage, diagnose, and treat conditions such as URIs, lacerations, sprains, fractures.
• Collaborate with support staff to ensure timely patient flow and quality care.

Position Highlights

• Schedule: 2x12-hour shifts/week (variable), open M-F 8a-8p
• Weekend Rotation: Every 3rd weekend
• Call Requirement: 2 days every 4 weeks (as needed)
• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate + shift differential
• Support: Strong teamwork and excellent support staff

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Masters or Doctoral degree in Nursing (accredited program)
• Licensure: Current/unrestricted NP license in Missouri (or willingness to obtain)
• Certification: Family Nurse Practitioner
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in Urgent Care or Primary Care in a fast-paced setting; confident in treating acute illnesses/injuries (e.g., URIs, lacerations, sprains, fractures)
