SSM Health in Arnold, Missouri is seeking a Part-time Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner to evaluate and treat patients across the lifespan in a fast-paced setting. The role emphasizes autonomy within a collaborative team and requires strong clinical judgment.

You will perform assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop individualized care plans, and coordinate referrals to ensure seamless transitions within the health system.

Formación

• Graduate degree in nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
• Missouri RN license or compact-state RN license within six months.
• Missouri NP licensure.
• NP certification with Family Nurse Practitioner included as accepted.
• 1 year NP experience or 2 years RN experience in adult acute care setting.

Practice Highlights

• Urgent Care: Evaluate and treat patients presenting with a variety of acute and chronic health concerns across the lifespan.
• Clinical scope: Perform assessments, order and interpret diagnostic testing, prescribe appropriate treatments, and develop individualized care plans.
• Collaboration: Work closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary health care team while utilizing appropriate clinical resources and referrals.
• Continuity of care: Help patients navigate appropriate transitions and referrals within the broader health care system.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
• Missouri Registered Nurse license or qualifying compact-state Registered Nurse license within six months
• Missouri Nurse Practitioner licensure
• Appropriate Nurse Practitioner certification, with Certified Family Nurse Practitioner included among the accepted certifications
• One year of Nurse Practitioner experience or two years of Registered Nurse experience in an adult acute care setting
