  • Schedule: Night shifts, 3 - 12-hour shifts per week

As part of our team, you will play a vital role in providing quality healthcare in the correctional industry and have opportunities for growth and internal promotion.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect medical care to meet patients' physiological, psychological, and emotional needs
  • Obtain patient history and perform physical examinations
  • Formulate diagnoses and develop treatment plans
  • Prescribe treatments based on diagnoses
  • Evaluate patients returning from off-site treatment
  • Admit and discharge patients
  • Conduct rounds and perform laboratory and diagnostic procedures

Qualifications:

  • Current unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Florida
  • Current DEA registration
  • Collaborative agreement with on-site Physician
  • Valid CPR certification
