Job summary

PMC Medical in Tunica, MS is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its onsite health clinic. This full-time, day-shift role offers a patient-centered environment, with Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-4:30 PM and no hospital call.

You will provide comprehensive primary and occupational health services to employees. Responsibilities include wellness physicals, evaluating acute illnesses and workplace injuries, managing chronic conditions, preventive care, ordering tests,

Qualifications

• Board-Certified NP or PA required.
• Active Mississippi license or willingness to obtain Mississippi licensure.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Occupational Health.
• BLS certification required.
• DEA license preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-employment and annual wellness physicals.
• Evaluate and treat acute illnesses and workplace injuries.
• Manage chronic conditions using evidence-based protocols.
• Provide preventive care, health screenings, and wellness coaching.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Document patient care accurately within the EMR.
