Job summary

Medical Director Services PC is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to service skilled nursing facilities in Cadiz, OH. New grads welcome, with excellent salary commensurate with experience.

The NP will assess patients, perform exams, administer injections and care plans, and counsel patients on wellness and treatment options while maintaining high standards of infection control and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be Board Certified
• Must hold active NP licensure and be eligible to practice in Ohio/Kentucky region
• Extensive training will be offered

Responsibilities

• Assuring delivery of quality care services to all patients in a respectful and professional manner.
• Identifies patient care issues and advises on options and actions for physician directives.
• Assessing patient health via interviews, exams, histories.
• Documenting care in patient/department records.
• Performing injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care.
• Counseling patients on regimens and wellness.
• Developing and implementing patient management plans.
• Maintaining safe, clean work environment and infection-control compliance.
• Adhering to legal/regulatory requirements and staying current with professional knowledge.
• Developing team staff through education and experiential growth.
• Contributing to team effort to achieve related results.
