Rhino Medical is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine NP or PA for a locum tenens assignment in Brandon, Mississippi. The role offers a medium-acuity community ED with approximately 17,000 annual visits, Epic EMR, and 24 hours of physician coverage daily, alongside 10 hours of NP/PA coverage daily.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years EM experience, Mississippi DEA, CSPA, and current ACLS/PALS. You will join an established hospital team and provide high-quality urgent care in a busy ED.

Qualifications

• 2+ years Emergency Medicine experience as NP/PA
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine (FNP or PA)
• Current DEA registration with Mississippi address
• Mississippi CSPA
• ACLS and PALS current

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medicine care in a community ED setting

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a locum tenens opportunity in Brandon, Mississippi.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Emergency Medicine APP looking for a manageable community ED environment with approximately 17,000 annual visits, medium acuity, Epic, and 24 hours of physician coverage every day. The facility provides dedicated NP/PA coverage for 10 hours daily, creating an established physician-APP care model.

Clinical Environment

Join an Emergency Medicine team providing care across a broad range of acute presentations. The hospital's emergency services support patients with everything from common injuries and orthopedic complaints to respiratory, cardiac, neurologic, and other potentially serious conditions. Current public information confirms the ED operates around the clock and serves Brandon, Rankin County, and surrounding communities.

The opportunity is based within an established acute-care hospital in Brandon, giving APPs access to hospital-based diagnostic and clinical resources while practicing alongside continuous physician coverage. Current Mississippi Department of Health information identifies the hospital at this location as a 134-bed acute-care facility.

Requirements

• Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) required
• Board Certified through ANCC or AANP
• NCCPA Certified
