Job summary

Main Line Health in King of Prussia, PA seeks a Nurse Practitioner for our Comprehensive Weight and Wellness program. The NP will diagnose, treat, and prescribe in collaboration with attending physicians and residents, driving quality and evidence-based care to improve patient outcomes.

This full-time role offers tuition reimbursement, with up to $6,000 yearly, and a path to career growth. Strong outpatient experience in primary care or endocrinology is favored, along with Pennsylvania NP

Qualifications

• 2 years NP clinical experience required.
• MSN degree required.
• PA state nursing license as NP.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical diagnosis and prescribe therapies in collaboration with attending physicians.
• Lead quality and evidence-based care initiatives to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, residents, and family to develop patient care plans.
• Participate in credentialing and clinical process improvements.

Position

Nurse Practitioner, NP - Comprehensive Weight and Wellness

Shift

Full Time, 40 hours/week. Monday - Friday, 8 hour day shift. No weekend or holiday requirements

Experience

• 2 years clinical Nurse Practitioner experience required.
• experience in Primary Care, Endocrinology, or other related outpatient clinic settings preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years Nursing experience in outpatient clinic setting preferred.

Education

• Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program required.
• MSN Required.

Licensures/Certifications

Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing Examiners as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner.
Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
Require ACLS certification.
May require PALS (pediatric advanced life support).
Successful completion of the MLH credentialing process through the Medical Staff office, with temporary or permanent privileges approved.
