Job summary

Main Line Health is recruiting a Nurse Practitioner for the Breast Surgical Specialist group in Bryn Mawr and Newtown Square, PA. This role involves diagnostic assessment and prescribing in collaboration with physicians, with a focus on high-quality, evidence-based patient care.

We seek experienced NPs in Women’s Health or Hematology Oncology; new graduates with relevant rotations are considered. Offers tuition reimbursement up to $6,000/year, 240 hours of PTO, and free employee parking.

Qualifications

• 2 years NP experience preferred in Women’s Health or Hematology Oncology.
• Minimum of 2 years Nursing experience in Women’s Health or Hematology Oncology preferred.
• New Graduates with Women’s Health or Oncology background can be considered.
• Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program required.
• MSN required.
• Licensed by PA State Board as an RN NP.
• Provider BLS required.
• MLH credentialing process through Medical Staff office with privileges approved.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnosis or prescription of medical therapy in collaboration with attending physicians and residents.
• Lead quality and evidence-based care initiatives to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and the health care team.

Position:

Nurse Practitioner, NP - Breast Surgical Specialist

Shift:

Full Time, 40 hours/week. Monday - Friday, 8 hour day shift. No weekends or Holiday's!

Experience:

1. 2 years Nurse Practitioner experience preferred in Women's Health or Hematology Oncology
2. Minimum of 2 years Nursing experience in Women's Health or Hematology Oncology preferred.
3. New Graduates with Women's Health or Oncology background, or strong relevant clinical rotations can be considered.

Education:

1. Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program required.
2. MSN Required.

Licensures/Certifications:

1. Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing Examiners as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner.
2. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
3. Successful completion of the MLH credentialing process through the Medical Staff office, with temporary or permanent privileges approved.
