Acts Retirement-Life Communities, Inc. is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to lead an on-site outpatient primary care practice across the continuum of care (independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing) on campus in Florida.

This role includes planning, directing clinical operations, and supervising staff to deliver proactive resident care. The NP will participate in resident well-being initiatives, act as a clinical preceptor, and ensure compliance with regulations while expanding

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Advanced Nursing; geriatrics preferred.
• Licensed Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority in Florida.
• Florida Autonomous Practice certification within first year of employment.
• Minimum of five years as a Nurse Practitioner in primary/urgent care or geriatrics.
• Experience in continuing care, skilled nursing, long-term care or assisted living.

Responsibilities

• Manage and build an outpatient Primary Care Practice on campus.
• Provide care for residents in assisted living and skilled nursing facilities.
• Plan and direct all functions of the resident care clinical area and supervise team members.
• Ensure day-to-day operations comply with federal and state regulations.
• Serve as clinical preceptor for NP students and develop preventative/well-being services.

Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Nurse Practitioner position.

In this role, you will provide services across the continuum of care (independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing). This is a unique opportunity to build and manage an outpatient Primary Care Practice on campus, as well as provide care for our assisted living and skilled nursing residents. You will plan and direct all functions of the resident care clinical area, including but not limited to, management of team members and the day-to-day operations of the practice, managing resident healthcare needs in compliance with federal and state regulations, maintaining knowledge of the long-term care industry and geriatrics through continuing education, and serving as clinical preceptor for Nurse Practitioner students. Our Nurse Practitioners also play a key role in the development and implementation of preventative and well-being services, providing proactive care to assist our residents to thrive and age in place.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• Master’s degree in Advanced Nursing; preferably in geriatrics
• Must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority in the applicable work state
• Florida Autonomous Practice certification for Nurse Practitioners (or must obtain within the first year of employment)
• Minimum of five years' experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in a primary care, urgent care, or other medical office setting, particularly within geriatrics
• Experience in continuing care, skilled nursing care, long-term care, and/or in an assisted living environment

Pay Range

$105,029.00 - $129,237.00 / year. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
