Acts Retirement-Life Communities, Inc. in Florida is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide care across the continuum on campus, building and managing an outpatient primary care practice for residents in independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing.

The role includes directing clinical operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, serving as clinical preceptor for NP students, and developing preventative and well-being services to help residents thrive and age in place.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Advanced Nursing (geriatrics preferred).
• Licensed NP with prescriptive authority in Florida.
• Florida Autonomous Practice certification (or obtained within first year).
• Minimum five years' NP experience in primary or long-term care, geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide NP services across independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing.
• Plan and direct all functions of the resident care clinical area.
• Manage team members and day-to-day operations of the practice.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations; pursue continuing education.

Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Nurse Practitioner position.

In this role, you will provide services across the continuum of care (independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing). This is a unique opportunity to build and manage an outpatient Primary Care Practice on campus, as well as provide care for our assisted living and skilled nursing residents. You will plan and direct all functions of the resident care clinical area, including but not limited to, management of team members and the day-to-day operations of the practice, managing resident healthcare needs in compliance with federal and state regulations, maintaining knowledge of the long-term care industry and geriatrics through continuing education, and serving as clinical preceptor for Nurse Practitioner students. Our Nurse Practitioners also play a key role in the development and implementation of preventative and well-being services, providing proactive care to assist our residents to thrive and age in place.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Advanced Nursing; preferably in geriatrics
• Must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority in the applicable work state
• Florida Autonomous Practice certification for Nurse Practitioners (or must obtain within the first year of employment)
• Minimum of five years' experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in a primary care, urgent care, or other medical office setting, particularly within geriatrics
• Experience in continuing care, skilled nursing care, long-term care, and/or in an assisted living environment

Pay Range

$105,029.00 - $129,237.00 / year. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
