Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide medical care to patients of all ages within the licensed scope and in collaboration with a physician. The role includes examinations, diagnostics, prescribing, and coordinating lab studies in a healthcare facility in Florida.

The contract is part-time with a pay rate of $70 per hour. Eligibility includes NP certification, RN license, and state-specific requirements.

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner certification and license in the state of practice.
• RN license in the state of practice.
• Specialty certification as per client request and/or state regulations if applicable.
• One year experience as an NP preferred.
• Maintain collaboration agreements per state requirements.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to patients of all ages within the scope of license.

Job description

The Nurse Practitioner provides medical care services and treatment to patients of all ages within scope of license, in collaboration with a physician as required by law. The Nurse Practitioner collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to collect and document patient data, performs physical examinations, diagnostic and therapeutic tests and procedures, assessments and screenings, prescribes medications and treatments, orders and schedules laboratory and diagnostic studies to provide evidence based care and comprehensive services including direct patient care. Additionally, the Nurse Practitioner may have an area of specialty practice.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Nurse Practitioner Certification and license in the state of practice required
• RN license in the state of practice required

• One (1) year experience as an NP preferred
