Texas Health Resources seeks a Nurse Practitioner for the Neurology department in Denton. The role focuses on comprehensive assessment, planning, and therapeutic interventions within a neuro-spine service line.

Strong credentialing at hire, BCLS compliance, and ACLS preferred. The position supports a collaborative team dedicated to patient-centered care and continuous improvement in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program is required.
• Master's degree in Nurse Practitioner program is required.
• Minimum 2 years of NP experience preferred.
• Neuro/Spine experience is preferred.
• RN/APRN/NP credentials required at hire.
• BCLS required prior to independent patient care; ACLS preferred within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan care using advanced nursing knowledge in neurology.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Perform specialty procedures safely and document plan of care.
• Promote adherence to clinical pathways and policies.
• Support population health through care delivery evaluations.

Skills

NP experience (2 years preferred)

Neuro/Spine experience preferred
