A reputable healthcare group in southern Florida is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join its Neurology team in Palm Beach County. This full-time opportunity is ideal for an experienced provider who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced setting and is passionate about providing advanced neurological care.

Position Overview

Join a dynamic team of 7 providers seeing more than 100 patients per day. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will manage your own patient panel, averaging 20 patients per day, delivering comprehensive and compassionate neurological care in the outpatient setting.

This is a hands-on role that requires autonomy, collaboration, and the ability to manage acute conditions effectively. Prior experience in neurology, cardiology, or orthopedic scrubbing is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform history and physical exams, review diagnostics, and develop treatment plans
• Manage acute neurologic conditions and patient follow-up in collaboration with physicians
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and long-term care planning
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs
• Support patient throughput and care coordination
• Participate in quality improvement, data collection, and interdisciplinary team meetings
  
  

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Salary Range: $110,000 – $144,000 annually, based on experience

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Current Florida APRN license and national board certification (e.g., AANP or ANCC)
• BLS, ACLS, and DEA license required
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience, plus at least 3 years of Nurse Practitioner experience, ideally in neurology or a surgical specialty
• Must meet all Florida state CEU and credentialing requirements
  
  

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in neurology, orthopedics, or cardiology highly preferred
• Familiarity with managing acute neurologic conditions in an outpatient or specialty setting
• Strong communication skills, clinical judgment, and ability to manage a high patient volume
