As a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner at EVERNORTH, you’ll deliver expert care that helps patients manage and improve their skin health. In this role, you’ll provide specialized dermatologic services with full practice authority. Deliver comprehensive dermatologic care in an outpatient setting.
Diagnose and treat a wide range of skin conditions
Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work and radiology studies.
Order and manage pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments.
Educate patients on skin health, sun protection, and self-examinations.
Conduct excisional biopsies and minor dermatologic surgeries.
Administer treatments such as cryotherapy and intralesional steroid injections.
Provide dermatologic consultations to other providers within the group.
Respond to onsite emergencies until EMS arrives.
Stay current with licensure and continuing education (CME).
Document thoroughly and accurately in the EHR.
Participate in emergency preparedness and response efforts.
3+ years of dermatology experience or completion of a dermatology fellowship/training.
Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC).
Graduate of an accredited NP program (Master’s, Post-Master’s, or Doctoral).
Active and unrestricted AZ RN license and APN number.
DEA and pharmacy prescribing privileges.
BLS certification and AED competency.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Proficiency with MS Office and Electronic Health Records.
Experience with Epic.
Leadership experience
