Tenet Healthcare is seeking a passionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Family Medicine team in Harlingen, TX. This full-time, W2 position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our diverse patient population. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while working alongside a dynamic team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams, medical history, and screenings.
  • Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic conditions in patients of all ages.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on disease prevention, healthy lifestyle, and chronic disease management.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs.
  • Prescribe medications as appropriate and in compliance with state regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical protocols and best practices.
  • Ensure a compassionate, supportive, and positive experience for all patients.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Valid and active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas or ability to obtain one.
