Penn State Health Medical Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner in Millersville to provide comprehensive patient care within a multidisciplinary team. The NP will assess, diagnose, treat, and manage health conditions across the patient population served.

• Current PA CRNP license.
• Two years RN experience.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is an expert in pathophysiology, physical assessment and diagnosis, pharmacology and exercises authority in health promotion and disease management. The NP functions as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team and provides a wide range of patient services to a specific patient population across the continuum of health care. By utilizing the nursing process, scientific reasoning and critical problem solving, NPs practice within the scope of responsibilities and prescriptive authority defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing and the Medical Staff Executives at the Penn State Health.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S)

• Master’s Degree in Nursing
• National certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse
• Current license to practice as CRNP by Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners
• Two (2) years' work experience as an RN
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
