Job summary

TEEMA GROUP is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join a collaborative Medical Oncology and Hematology team in Glendale, AZ. You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, diagnose and manage hematologic and oncologic conditions, and order tests within your scope of practice.

You will educate patients and families, coordinate care with physicians and nurses, monitor treatment response, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing or equivalent advanced practice degree.
• Current, unrestricted NP or PA state license.
• Current DEA registration or ability to obtain.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Job description

We are seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a collaborative Medical Oncology and Hematology team.

This opportunity is ideal for a provider who enjoys building meaningful patient relationships, caring for medically complex patients, and working closely with physicians and clinical teams. Providers with strong clinical skills and an interest in developing expertise in oncology are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

Evaluate patients, perform comprehensive assessments, and develop individualized care plans.

Diagnose and manage hematologic and oncologic conditions within your scope of practice.

Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic studies.

Prescribe and manage medications and therapeutic treatments as permitted by state regulations.

Monitor treatment response, manage symptoms, and adjust care plans in collaboration with physicians.

Educate patients and families about diagnoses, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, supportive medications, and ongoing care.

Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.

Follow up on test results, medication needs, and patient concerns.

Maintain accurate, timely documentation and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

What You'll Need

Master's degree in Nursing, Physician Assistant Studies, or an equivalent advanced practice degree.

Current, unrestricted NP or PA state license, or eligibility to obtain licensure.

Current DEA registration or ability to obtain as required.

Current CPR/BLS certification.

Preferred Experience

Experience in Hematology, Oncology, Infusion, Internal Medicine, or a related specialty is a plus. Experience caring for medically complex patients and familiarity with oncology treatments are also helpful.

Previous oncology experience is not required. We welcome providers who are motivated to grow their knowledge and skills in this specialty.
