WashU Medicine Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join its Maternal Fetal Medicine team. The Nurse Practitioner functions as an independent provider, evaluating, diagnosing, and managing patients within the scope of their specialty certification and collaborative practice requirements. Working alongside some of the region's leading Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists, the provider plays a vital role in supporting patients throughout complex pregnancies and helping families navigate challenging clinical situations.
Primary focus on outpatient clinic visits, with occasional inpatient support as needed.
Fully onsite at either the Center for Outpatient Health or Missouri Baptist
A typical day includes independently managing patient visits, developing treatment plans, providing patient education, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and partnering with physicians and clinical staff to ensure comprehensive care for mothers and babies. The Nurse Practitioner will gain extensive experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine, caring for patients with complex medical conditions, fetal abnormalities, pregnancy complications, and other high-risk obstetric concerns.
