Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for outpatient rheumatology clinics in the St. Louis area. The NP will provide direct patient care, perform assessments, manage chronic conditions, and collaborate with physicians and staff to deliver evidence-based care.
The position requires MSN and APN licensure with potential collaboration agreements as per state regulations. Normal outpatient schedule applies, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner, one with experience with immunosuppressed patients or musculoskeletal conditions is optimal. We provide outpatient care Monday- Friday, 8 AM-5 PM. This role will see patients at two or three of our clinics located in North County, West County, South County and our Center for Advanced Medicine location.
The Rheumatology division offers a variety of specialized outpatient clinics across the St. Louis area which are designed to individualize our patient's support and treatment for conditions such as those arising from arthritis, musculoskeletal, autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. Our supportive and team-focused atmosphere promotes a positive work environment that fosters professional growth and development.
Provides primary and/or specialty nursing and/or medical care in a variety of settings; works under physician oversight as required by state regulation and functions within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practitioner's specialty certification, Barnes-Jewish Hospital medical by-laws, and, where it exists, the collaborative practice agreement.
