Job summary

New Season Treatment Centers is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to support patient care in an outpatient setting addressing opioid use disorder. You will perform evaluations, health screenings and intake/discharge procedures under the Medical Director, collaborating with nurses, counselors and the program team.

Candidate must hold an MD NP license in MD, a DEA license capable of prescribing buprenorphine, and Medicaid/Medicare credentials.

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state where the clinic operates (MD).
• DEA license schedule II, III C with the ability to prescribe buprenorphine.
• Medicaid and Medicare credential.
• Two years of experience in Substance Abuse.
• Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Google Suite; EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing patient care including evaluations and health screenings.
• Support Medical Director by handling intake, discharge, and coordinating care.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff, counselors and Program Director.
• Review and sign clinical documentation and medication orders.
• Participate in staff meetings and provide reports as requested.
