Banner University Medical Center Phoenix invites an Experienced Acute Care NP or PA to join our Hospitalist team in a dynamic academic medical center. The role focuses on high-quality, patient-centered inpatient care for hospitalized adults.

The position offers a night shift (7pm–7am), a $125 per shift differential, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision, 401K with 4% match after one year, CME days, and paid malpractice.

Qualifications

• Active Acute Care NP or PA licensure in AZ.
• DEA with prescriptive authority is required.
• Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS.
• Acute care/inpatient experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform histories and physicals; develop differential diagnoses and treatment plans; order/interpret tests; prescribe medications.
• Provide comprehensive care to hospitalized adults in collaboration with the care team.
• Contribute to quality improvement and evidence-based practice projects.
• Maintain documentation in line with policies and regulatory standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, discharge planning and care coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform histories and physicals, develop differential diagnoses and treatment plans, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications
• Provide comprehensive care to hospitalized adult patients in collaboration with physicians, residents, nurses, and other members of the care team
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice projects
• Maintain documentation in accordance with institutional policies and regulatory standards
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, discharge planning, and coordination of care
