Job summary

Banner University Medical Center Phoenix is seeking a dynamic Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join the Nocturnal Critical Care team. The ACNP will directly manage critical care patients and contribute to a division devoted to career development.

The ideal candidate handles nocturnal care management, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, test interpretation, medication prescriptions, education, consultation, and research. New grads with ICU experience are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Current ACNP certification is required.
• Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications are required.
• Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license are required.
• Experience in critical care is encouraged; new grads with relevant ICU experience are welcome.

Job description

Banner - University Medicine seeks a dynamic Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join our Nocturnal Critical Care team at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix. The selected ACNP directly manages critical care patients within a division that is committed to the growth and career development of their team.

The ideal candidate is comfortable being involved in nocturnal care management of patients, performing therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, interpretation of diagnostic tests, prescription of medications, education, consultation, and research. This position is also open to highly motivated new grads with prior critical care intensivist experience that thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Current ACNP certification
• Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS
• Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substance
• Experienced or New Grads with previous critical care experience are encouraged to apply!

Work Schedule

Full Time | 3-12 hour shifts per week-Nights | Some Rotating Weekend Coverage
