Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in Brooklyn is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for the NYP Brooklyn Medical Group – Multispecialty. This full‑time role runs four days a week with extended hours 8:00 AM–6:00 PM and occasional Saturday shifts at 340 4th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY.

The ideal candidate holds national certification in Women's Health or Family Practice, and a BSN plus a Master's in a NP specialty, current NYS RN and NP licenses, and BLS.

Qualifications

• BSN
• Master's Degree in specialty of practice or completed alternative certification requirements for graduates of nurse practitioner programs prior to April 1,1989
• Current NYS RN license
• Current NYS Nurse Practitioner license
• Basic Life Support Certification for all Nurse Practitioners who provide direct patient care

Responsibilities

• Provide NP care within a multispecialty group in a hospital setting.
• Maintain high-quality, patient-centered care with on-site presence and collaboration with physicians.

This is a Full-Time 4 days a week with extended hours 8:00AM-6:00PM and once a month on Saturday. Located at 340 4th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY.

Preferred Criteria

• National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Women's Health or Family Practice
• 1-2 years Internal Medicine experience
