Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital seeks a Nurse Practitioner for the NYP Brooklyn Medical Group, Multispecialty. The role is full-time, four days per week with extended hours (8:00 AM–6:00 PM) and one Saturday per month, located at 340 4th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY.

Required: BSN, NYS RN and NP licenses, and BLS certification; preferred: Women’s Health or Family Practice NP certification with 1–2 years IM experience. NYP offers comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• BSN is required.
• Master’s degree in a nurse practitioner specialty or equivalent certification completed prior to April 1, 1989.
• Current NYS RN license.
• Current NYS Nurse Practitioner license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for NPs providing direct patient care.

Preferred Criteria

• National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Women’s Health or Family Practice


• 1-2 years Internal Medicine experience

• Master’s Degree in specialty of practice or completed alternative certification requirements for graduates of nurse practitioner programs prior to April 1,1989


• Current NYS RN license


• Current NYS Nurse Practitioner license


• Basic Life Support Certification for all Nurse Practitioners who provide direct patient care
