Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to cover our Internal Medicine ambulatory care at the Columbia Campus. You’ll join a dynamic team, delivering high-quality care in our Primary Care Practices with emphasis on access and reduced wait times.

You will be board-certified, licensed in NY, and bring at least two years of NP experience, bilingual skills preferred. This is a day-shift, on-site role aligned with the NYP mission and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Masters in Nursing with Advanced Practice
• Current NYS RN and FNP licensure
• BLS certification through AHA
• Board Certification as an FNP
• Minimum of two years NP experience
• Strong communication and triage skills

As an essential part of our Ambulatory Care Network (ACN), you'll join our dynamic team providing coverage as a Nurse Practitioner in our Primary Care Practices. This provider coverage increases our patient’s access to care, and reduces wait times.

Step into this exciting role as a Nurse Practitioner providing high-quality care to a diverse group of patients, regardless of socioeconomic status. Our leadership teams take great pride in being able to stay involved in every stage of care, from the development of best practices to the coordination of multidisciplinary services.

This is an 8:30 am - 5 pm full time, day shift position.

Preferred Criteria:

• Bilingual - English and Spanish
• Prior anticoagulation management experience
• Out-patient or primary care experience
• Prior pap smear service experience
• Form completion experience

Required Criteria:

• Masters in Nursing Degree in Advanced Practice
• Current NYS RN and FNP licensure
• Current BLS through the AHA
• Board Certification as an FNP
• Minimum of two years NP experience
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and triage skills
