Job summary

Wellpath / Correct Care Solutions is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive medical services to incarcerated patients. Under supervision of the Site Medical Director, you will perform routine and emergency care, document accurately, and coordinate coverage as needed.

The role requires an active NP license in the state, CPR certification, and experience in corrections or acute medical settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Advanced degree in an approved and accredited Nurse Practitioner program.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and emergent medical care for inmates, including chronic care and on-site emergency treatment.
• Document services in SOAP format and adhere to formulary regimens.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and coordinate coverage for extended absences.
