Job summary

Western Reserve Hospital Physicians, Inc. is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to perform comprehensive history and physical assessments across inpatient and outpatient settings.

You will develop integrated care plans with a multidisciplinary team and ensure high-quality patient care through coordination with physicians, care managers, and community services. The role requires a Master of Science in Nursing, Ohio RN license, prescriptive authority, and national certification in Adult/Family/Acute

Qualifications

• Master of Science Degree in Nursing or higher.
• Registered Nurse license to practice in Ohio.
• Certificate to Prescribe, State of Ohio.
• National Certification in Adult, Family or Acute Care.
• Prescriptive Authority required.
• BLS required, ACLS to be obtained.

Description

The Nurse Practitioner performs comprehensive history and physical assessments on the general medical population in a variety of settings, which may include inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory and others. Using the interdisciplinary team process, completes a comprehensive H&P and contributes to the development of an integrated plan for the management of general medical patients, and communicates this plan to others involved in the care of the patient. Ensures quality of patient care by utilizing established standards of care for general medical patients and coordination of services with physicians, care managers, social workers, patient care coordinators, therapists and other community agencies as appropriate.

Education and Training

• Master of Science Degree in Nursing
• Registered Nurse with current license to practice in the State of Ohio
• Certificate of Authority, State of Ohio
• National Certification in Adult, Family or Acute Care
• Certificate to Prescribe, State of Ohio
• BLS required, until ACLS obtained

Experience

• Minimum 2 Years experience in nursing care relevant to medical patient population to include leadership/management experience with demonstrated success.

Schedule
