Job summary

NYC Health + Hospitals is seeking a Nurse Practitioner in New York City to provide comprehensive health care services. Candidates must have a valid NY State Nurse Practitioner certification and be licensed to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse. Additional certifications can enhance compensation. The position includes a standard work shift of 8:00 A.M – 4:30 P.M with some rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Valid New York State license and registration as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Current Nurse Practitioner certification issued by NYSED.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through AHA.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous comprehensive medical and nursing care to patients.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate patient plans of care.
• Educate patients and families regarding health status and disease prevention.
