Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current PMHNP-BC certification.
• Active and unrestricted state licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
• Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evaluations.
• Diagnose and treat a variety of mental health conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
• Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychiatric medications.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices.
• Deliver services through in-person and/or telehealth platforms as appropriate.
