Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. in Fargo, ND is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our behavioral health team.

You will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, treatment planning, and medication management across the lifespan, collaborating with therapists, PCPs, and nursing staff to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care. We value top-of-license practice, education for patients and families, and participation in quality improvement

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing is required.
• PMHNP-BC certification is required.
• Active, unrestricted state licensure as a PMHNP and DEA registration are required.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic skills, and evidence-based care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evaluations
• Diagnose and treat a variety of mental health conditions
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs
• Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychiatric medications
• Provide education and support to patients and families
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices
• Deliver services through in-person and/or telehealth platforms as appropriate

Preferred

• Previous outpatient psychiatric experience
