Job summary

Tenet Desert is seeking a Nurse Practitioner NICU for a part-time role in Palm Springs, CA. The NICU NP will manage patients in the NICU under supervision of the Medical Director and Nursing Director, providing leadership in the department.

The candidate should have CA RN license, NP certification, NRP, and BLS, with at least 5 years of clinical experience and demonstrated professional behavior. Master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner Certification is required.
• Current California RN license is required.
• Certification as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) is required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification is required.

The NICU Neonatal Nurse Practitioner manages patients in the NICU under the direction and indirection supervision of the Medical Director and/or his designees and the Nursing Director according to the established nursing standardized procedures. This role is a leadership position in the department and the individual is responsible for effective time management, resource utilization, and demonstration of positive role modeling.

Required:

• Will consider experience as a Physician Assistant
