SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Penn State Health is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider to join the inpatient Infectious Disease team. The role involves providing patient care, diagnosing and treating infectious diseases in inpatient and outpatient settings, collaborating with the healthcare team, conducting assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans. The Advanced Practice Provider will also participate in educational activities, research, and quality improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is flexible, detail-oriented, interested in learning, efficient but thorough, and enjoys patient care, as well as being an integral part of a high-functioning, productive team. This position is mainly day shift, with weekends and call coverage for Lancaster Medical Center and St. Joseph Medical Center.
