The role involves a mix of clinic visits, hospital rounding, and inpatient consults with a collaborative team focused on digestive health.

Requirements include a Master’s or Doctorate in NP/PA, Florida license (or eligibility), national certification, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate from an accredited NP/PA program.
• Florida APRN license or PA license (or eligibility).
• National certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Gastroenterology experience.
• Excellent communication and patient-centered care skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with supervising physicians.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with GI disorders.
• Mix of clinic visits, hospital rounding, and inpatient consults as needed.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary team members.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Provide patient education and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Work with EPIC EMR system for documentation.
