The role involves diagnosing, treating, and managing a range of medical conditions in a correctional setting, with emphasis on safety and compliance. Qualified candidates hold an advanced nursing degree, NV NP license, DEA registration, and a collaborative agreement with on-site physicians.

NaphCare is hiring a Nurses Practitioner to join our team of medical professionals in Las Vegas, NV where we manage all aspects of healthcare for the individuals who are currently incarcerated in the Clark County Detention Center.
Pay rates range from $63.00- $66.50 per hour.
As a Correctional Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will work alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals to provide care to the individuals in residence. Working within a controlled environment, where security is top priority and the days are never dull, you will have various duties to keep you engaged including assessing, diagnosing and treating patients with a range of medical conditions and chronic illnesses, prescribe medications, respond to emergencies, etc. This is a unique position where you can make a difference to this diverse population of patients with complex medical needs.
Must have the ability to stand for long periods, lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds), bend, squat, reach, push, pull, walk significant distances, and perform physically demanding tasks like CPR, all while maintaining good balance and endurance throughout a shift.
