Televisit MD Inc. is an innovative telehealth software platform looking to expand its database of healthcare practitioners! This is a 100% remote position with a competitive payment model, an easy-to-navigate system, and unlimited access to patients all over the United States! Working with TelevisitMD, you will get all of the following: new quality patients, Medmal coverage, a virtual workspace, EHR, e-prescribing, and telehealth visit tools and functions that enable flexibility for both patients and providers, allowing remote visits and replacing traditional brick-and-mortar practices.

We are currently seeking applications from N.P. licensed practitioners. Strong preference is given to practitioners licensed in multiple states.

We are looking for a responsible Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality medical care by examining patients and treating ailments. You will undertake tasks aimed at prevention and the promotion of healthy habits. A great Nurse Practitioner is highly qualified and compassionate. You must be knowledgeable about diseases, epidemiology, and other medical conditions to interpret symptoms and diagnose conditions. The role can be demanding, requiring patience and physical endurance.

Responsibilities

  1. Conduct routine check-ups to assess patients' health conditions and identify issues.
  2. Provide advice on healthy habits (diet, hygiene, etc.) and preventive measures to promote overall health.
  3. Examine ill patients and evaluate symptoms to determine their conditions.
  4. Ask intuitive questions to discover causes of illness.
  5. Make informed diagnoses based on scientific knowledge and medical history.
  6. Prescribe and interpret lab tests to gather additional information on infections or abnormalities.
  7. Prescribe non-narcotic medications and provide comprehensive administration instructions.
  8. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to form a high-performing medical team.
  9. Examine and treat injuries; refer patients to specialists when necessary (ophthalmologists, orthopedists, neurologists, etc.).
  10. Maintain records of patient diseases, operations, or significant health events (e.g., allergic episodes).
  11. Build a climate of trust and compassion with patients.
  12. Stay updated with medical advancements by attending conferences and seminars.

Skills

  1. Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
  2. Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics.
  3. Broad knowledge of common medications, side effects, and contraindications.
  4. In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and best practices.
  5. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
