Job Description for NPs

Televisit MD Inc. is an innovative telehealth software platform looking to expand its database of healthcare practitioners! This is a 100% remote position with a competitive payment model, an easy-to-navigate system, and unlimited access to patients all over the United States. Working with Televisit MD, you will have access to new quality patients, Medmal coverage, a virtual workspace, EHR, e-prescribing, and telehealth visit tools, enabling flexibility for both patients and providers, replacing traditional brick-and-mortar practices.

We are currently seeking applications from licensed Nurse Practitioners, with a strong preference for those licensed in multiple states.

We are looking for a responsible Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality medical care by examining patients and treating ailments. You will focus on prevention and health promotion. A great Nurse Practitioner is highly qualified and compassionate, knowledgeable about diseases, epidemiology, and medical conditions to interpret symptoms and diagnose accurately. The job can be demanding, requiring patience and physical endurance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine check-ups to assess health conditions and identify issues
• Provide advice on healthy habits and preventative measures
• Examine ill patients and evaluate symptoms
• Ask questions to discover causes of illness
• Reach informed diagnoses based on scientific knowledge and medical history
• Prescribe and interpret lab tests for infections or abnormalities
• Prescribe non-narcotic medications with instructions
• Collaborate with healthcare team members
• Treat injuries and refer patients to specialists when needed
• Maintain patient records
• Build trust and compassion with patients
