Avenues Recovery Center in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide medical care, medication management, and clinical oversight in a detox and residential treatment setting.

The role emphasizes patient stabilization, regulatory compliance, and collaborative care within a structured, supportive environment. In-person, full-time position with a multidisciplinary team.

Formación

• Active, unrestricted NP or PA-C license in Colorado.
• Valid Colorado medical license.
• Active DEA registration.
• SUD, behavioral health, psychiatry, or mental health experience (1+ year preferred).
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct medical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide medical monitoring and medication management in detox and residential care.
• Stabilize patients with substance use disorders to support engagement in treatment.
• Order and review medications, labs, and urine drug screens (UDS).
• Document all medical care in the EMR.
• Collaborate with medical, clinical, and UR teams.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, JCAHO, CARF, and ASAM standards.
• Manage daily and weekly patient schedules efficiently.
