Job summary

Sentinel Health Services is seeking a Family/Adult Nurse Practitioner to perform Compensation and Pension Examinations for Veterans. You will review digital medical records and perform focused physical assessments at approved facilities with reliable equipment and connectivity.

A flexible schedule (1–3 days/week) and capability to design your own calendar are highly valued, with the possibility to accommodate a 50‑mile radius from the job location. Prior VA experience is preferred for best fit.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Nurse Practitioners (Family/Adult).
• One year NP experience or prior VA work ideal.
• Design your own schedule with availability 3–7 days a month preferred.
• Preferred experience performing Veteran exams (VA/Disability).
• Must have 2 years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform Compensation and Pension Examinations on Veterans.
• Complete a thorough review of digital medical records.
• Conduct a physical assessment based on specific disability claims.
• Submit information gathered through an online portal for VA review.
• Exams conducted at approved facilities with required equipment and internet access.
• Must be able to perform exams 1–3 days per week.
• If you have your own practice, conduct exams with a flexible schedule.
