Job summary

Center for Family Practice in Latham, NY is seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our busy, well-established family practice. You will provide comprehensive primary care and build lasting relationships with patients in a collaborative, supportive setting.

No nights or weekends beyond the shared on-call rotation; mentorship and growth opportunities are available as part of our experienced team.

Qualifications

• Current Physician Assistant license and certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
• Family medicine or primary care experience preferred; motivated new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across a broad range of medical conditions.
• Provide preventive, acute, and chronic disease management.
• Perform physical examinations and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing as appropriate.
• Prescribe medications in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Educate patients and families about their health and treatment options.
• Develop long-term relationships with patients.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and the rest of our team.

We are a busy and well-established family practice that has operated independently for more than 25 years. We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. We provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals and families and are looking for someone who enjoys building strong relationships with patients while working in a collaborative, supportive environment.
