Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing is required.
• APRN-NP State License is required.
• 0-1 year of NP experience preferred.
• Endoscopy/perioperative experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care, counseling, and teaching to a designated patient population in ambulatory, inpatient, operative, and/or procedural settings.
• Performs complete histories and physical examinations.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Develops appropriate plans of care and follow-up based on diagnostic findings.
• Orders medications and writes prescriptions according to policies and procedures.
• Maintains high-quality, timely documentation including admission, progress, procedure, operative notes, and discharge summaries.
