Formación

• Two years of clinical nursing experience.
• Master’s degree in Nursing required.
• Current RN license required.
• Continued employment requires ongoing education as per licensure.

Responsabilidades

• Examines patients, takes medical history, records results, and makes preliminary diagnoses.
• Documents patient care services in charts and records.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests (x-rays, ECG, blood work).
• Performs immunizations, injections, suturing and wound care.
• Develops and implements patient care plans and counsels patients.
• Prescribes medications as allowed by state guidelines.
• Maintains health education for patients and families.
