Job summary

NOMS Healthcare in Ohio seeks a Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive patient assessments, diagnose, and manage treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and care teams, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program required.
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of professional nursing experience required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of Nurse Practitioner experience preferred.
• Specialty-specific clinical experience may be preferred based on practice needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to deliver patient care.
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment plans, and health maintenance.
• Develop, implement, and manage treatment plans based on patient assessment findings.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions within scope of practice and organizational guidelines.
• Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and established protocols.
• Administer medications, injections, and other therapeutic interventions as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete medical documentation within the EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and manage patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
