Job summary

NOMS Healthcare in Ohio is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for AFCC Podiatry on a full-time, on-site basis. You will conduct comprehensive health assessments, develop treatment plans, and coordinate with physicians to deliver exceptional podiatric care.

The role requires completion of an accredited NP program, with 3+ years nursing experience and 2+ years NP experience preferred. Ohio CNP/APRN license and BLS are required; Epic EMR experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program required.
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of professional nursing experience required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of Nurse Practitioner experience preferred.
• DEA registration may be required for prescribing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

• Perform comprehensive health assessments, physical examinations, and medical history reviews.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory tests, diagnostic procedures, and imaging studies.
• Develop, implement, and manage treatment plans based on patient assessment findings.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions within scope of practice and organizational guidelines.
• Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and established protocols.
• Administer medications, injections, and other therapeutic interventions as appropriate.
• Perform clinical procedures consistent with education, training, licensure, and organizational policies.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, preventive care, and wellness initiatives.
