Job summary

Hawaii Pacific Health is seeking an Advance Practice Provider to join our pediatric development team in Honolulu. This role focuses on developmental and behavioral pediatric care for children and adolescents in a multidisciplinary setting.

You will conduct evaluations, collaborate with physicians and therapists, and provide family-centered education and coordinated care to improve outcomes for keiki and families across Hawai‘i.

Qualifications

• Current Hawaii license for an Advanced Practice Provider (e.g., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant).
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification.
• One year experience in area of specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental-behavioral evaluations and provide ongoing clinical care for children and adolescents with developmental and behavioral concerns.
• Participate in assessment and management of ADHD, autism, developmental delays, learning differences, and behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including pediatric subspecialists, psychologists, therapists, social workers, and educators.
• Provide family-centered education, counseling, and care coordination to support optimal patient outcomes.

About the Opportunity

Hawai‘i Pacific Health is seeking an Advance Practice Provider (e.g., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant) with interest and experience in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics to join our multidisciplinary pediatric specialty team. This position offers the opportunity to work with children and adolescents with developmental, behavioral, learning, and neurodevelopmental differences while collaborating closely with physicians, psychologists, therapists, educators, and community partners throughout Hawai‘i.

Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai‘i’s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawai'i’s leader in the care of women, infants and children.
