Job summary

Sioux Center Health seeks a Physician Assistant for Avera Spencer Clinic. Day shift, Monday–Friday 9:00am–5:00pm with occasional Saturday coverage, in Spencer, IA.

The role entails assessing and treating patients per approved protocols, providing health education, coordinating with physicians, and maintaining accurate records. Requires licensure in the state, DEA registration, and NCCPA certification.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice in the state of assignment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and provide health education.
• Visual acuity and ability to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients per approved protocols.
• Provide medical services and health education to patients and families.
• Collaborate with physician for assessment and treatment.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures per protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Make appropriate referrals when indicated.
