Job description

Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illness, independently or as part of a healthcare team. May focus on health promotion and disease prevention. May order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays. May prescribe. Works in an inpatient critical care area.

  • Two years’ prior experience as a nurse required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

  • Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification
  • Fundamentals of Critical Care Support (FCCS) certification
