A healthcare organization is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to diagnose and treat patients in a critical care setting. Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Nursing and be licensed in their state. The role includes caring for acute and chronic illnesses, executing diagnostic tests, and promoting health and disease prevention. Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illness, independently or as part of a healthcare team. May focus on health promotion and disease prevention. May order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays. May prescribe. Works in an inpatient critical care area.
