Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted KY NP license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent NP experience.
• Corrections experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical care to inmates, including exams, chronic care clinics, and infirmary rounds.
• Maintains accurate SOAP progress notes and follows formulary guidelines.
• Responds to emergencies and manages non-formulary drugs or off-site referrals.
• Supports admission, transfer, and specialty referrals per policies.
• Maintains confidentiality and participates in facility committees if requested.
