Shift Details:
- Full Time Schedules
- Some weekends may be required
- 8 or 12 hour shifts available depending on the facility
- Contract Position (flexible with shift availability is a plus)
- MON-THUR OR TUES-FRI 0700-1700, 0800-1800
Nurse Practitioner (NP) Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, examinations, and medical histories.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic health conditions.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
- Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans within scope of practice.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment options, and health maintenance.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Promote preventive care and wellness through patient education and screenings.
- Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, facility policies, and regulatory standards
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited educational institution
- Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner by the State in CO. The license MUST be in good standing
- 1 year of experience
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- CPR card issued by the American Heart Association
- Must have up to date credentials in the state of CO
- Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
- Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
