Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner for a full-time, hybrid, contract-to-hire role in Downtown Los Angeles. The position supports a high-volume clinic with telemedicine on non-clinic days and occasional travel to Century City and other SoCal/NorCal locations.

Responsibilities include assessment and education for employee health, triage and treatment of injuries, immunizations, and onsite physicals. Onsite testing and phlebotomy are also required.

Qualifications

• Valid, active California NP license.
• Prescriptive authority to write medications.
• Minimum 2 years as a healthcare provider.
• Experience in Occupational/Employee Health or urgent care settings.
• Comfort with blood draws and telehealth.

Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, treat, and educate employees on health concerns.
• Injury/illness triage and treatment.
• Administer immunizations and travel vaccines.
• Perform onsite physicals (pre-placement, return-to-work).
• Provide ambulatory care for common illnesses and symptoms.
• Conduct onsite testing (strep, UTI, flu, glucose checks).
• Dispense OTC medications and perform phlebotomy.

Job description

Occupational HealthNurse Practitioner needed for a full-time, hybrid,contract-to-hire opportunity supporting Yoh’s well-knowncorporate office clientbased in Downtown Los Angeles, CA.

• Work9:00am to 5:00pm onsite 3 days/week in Downtown LA(includingalternating Wednesdays & Fridays); telemedicine on non-clinic days
• Travel required to Century City when needed, in addition toSan Diego, Orange County, and San Francisco (frequency TBD - likely monthly for SoCal and quarterly for NorCal).

This is a newly created position joining an established onsite medical clinic team that already includes a Nurse Practitioner, Physical Therapists, and Mental Health Counselors. You'll serve as the highest level of medical care for a high-performing workforce of 700+ employees. Must be comfortable working autonomously as you will likely be solo onsite, alternating with the other NP.

Top Skills You Should Possess:

• Active Nurse Practitioner(FNP/ANP)license in state of California
• Current prescription authority
• Minimum 2years ofexperience as a provider
• Previous experience in Occupational/Employee Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Corrections, Primary Care, Internal Medicine, or FamilyPractice
• Comfortable performing blood draws
• Prior experience with telehealth

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assessment, triage, treatment, and education for employee health concerns
• Injury/illness triage and treatment

• Ambulatory care (sore throats, ear aches, rashes, pink eye, etc.)
• Onsite testing for strep, UTI, influenza, hyperglycemia/hypoglycemia
• Dispense OTC medications (back pain, headache, pharyngitis)
• Phlebotomy

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Active/unrestricted Registered Nurse license in California
• NationalCertification(ANCC orAANP)
• Current BLS/CPR (AHA or Red Cross)
• NPI
• Annual TBTest or QuantiFERON Gold
• Annual flu vaccine (preferred)
• Strong computer skills;EMR experience required; Quest experience a major plus
• Interpersonal skills to interview, teach, counsel, and interact with employees and clients
