Our Mission at Ezra

Our mission at Function/Ezra is to detect cancer early for everyone in the world. We offer a direct-to-consumer cancer screening service that leverages MRI/CT and Artificial Intelligence to make cancer screening fast, accurate and affordable. We are fully operational in nearly every US state with an MRI and CT screening program for early detection of cancer and chronic disease.

We believe in empowering people to be proactive with their health decisions. Our members sign up for Ezra powered by Function, visit a partner imaging center to get an MRI scan, and receive a comprehensive screening report within 7 business days.

Your Mission

You will be responsible for providing concierge-level clinical care to Function/Ezra members and ensuring that every interaction with the company is exceptional.

As a Function/Ezra Nurse Practitioner, you will:

• Asynchronously review the member’s medical history and conduct telehealth consultations.
• Review and generate medical orders for our members’ studies.
• Review members’ radiology reports to prepare translated, easy-to-understand reports that clearly explain the results and recommend actionable next steps.

You are an experienced board-certified Nurse Practitioner who cares deeply about helping people detect cancer early.

You are knowledgeable and comfortable with telehealth platforms and using multiple applications such as Zoom, Slack.

Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctorate in Family Nurse Practitioner (DNP/FNP)
• Active board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), adult medicine
• Minimum of 3 years of advanced nurse practitioner clinical experience, preference for independent practice
• You are licensed in at least 40 states, some of these should be CA, NY or TX with preference for compact licensure
• You have experience working with patients both synchronous and asynchronously in a telehealth environment
• Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics, in particular imaging
• Have a quiet work environment/office space with high-speed internet connectivity

per diem role and will likely consist of working about 10 hours per month.
